This week's questions come from one of our faithful participants, Jan. Thank you, Jan! For those of you who sent in suggestions, look for them here in the coming weeks. I SO appreciate your ideas! Let's play!

1. Describe what you believe is a "good" driver. A good driver is one who follows traffic laws, is courteous and drives defensively.

2. Describe a "bad" driver (your opinion of course). One who does none of the above

3. Which category do you fit in? Please back up your answer. Feel free to use examples!Huh?

Random Questions; Random Days... Monday, March 22
I thought this was an interesting quote. Please comment on it: "We must learn to live together as brothers or we will perish together as fools." ~Martin Luther King, Jr.

I agree wholeheartedly with this statement. All we have to do is look at all the places in the world where the fools are trying to do each other in. They all should read "The butter battle Book" or "The Sneeches" by Dr. Suess. Worst of all, we have one such "fool" over there spending billions of dollars of our money!

No "CSI" tonight, so here I am! I can't wait for spring break, but I feel like there's too much to do with the play, and when we get back we've only got a couple of weeks! Sets have a long way to go as do costumes. I'm sure (?) things will work out....

This week's questions are brought to you by Isabella. Thank you kindly, Isabella! Have a wonderful, wonderful week my friends!! =)

1. What was your favorite TV show as a child? I think "Gilligan's Island" must have been a fave, because we used to "play" it as a make-believe game.

2. What show did you hate? The 3 stooges. They were too mean.

3. What show did your family gather around the TV to watch? I can't think of one! The Brady Bunch? Help me sibs!

4. What show is currently your favorite? Reality-wise, "Trading Spaces", and fiction-wise, "West Wing."

5. What show do you hate now? All the voyeuristic reality shows like Survivor, fear factor, match making shows, etc.

First of all, I want to thank everyone who offered suggestions for questions. But I have a confession to make; one nice gentleman emailed me with a list of questions, I replied, then deleted the email before saving the questions. Will this person PLEASE re-email me? Your questions will be the very next set I use; promise!! Thank you!

Now for this week's questions, and these come from Bryn. Thank you, Bryn!

1. What is your solution for cabin fever - you know that feeling of being penned in the house all winter? Going to the beautiful Lake Michigan beach and taking a walk. If the weather doesn't allow for the walk, just the drive out there helps. Seeing the ice formations on the pier, the results of brutal wind on the sand; it's all good!

2. Who are the people in your neighbourhood...in your neighbourhood, in your neighbourhood.....? We have a small "neighborhood, because we live on a cul de sac, but I'll start with Mary & Bob. Mary is my best "Upwords" challenger. She is retired from working many years at the country club. She has emphyzema, so she's not as fast as she used to be, but in body only. She really gives me a run for my money, wordgame-wise. We're pretty evenly matched, but I think it's my turn to win a few games! Mostly we play in the summer, when I have the time. The rest of the year she beats other people at Rummikub and Skipbo! We also have a couple of people with younger kids, and more retirees, but Mary's my "main neighbor!"

3. What's the best thing about spring? almost everything! The weather getting warmer; everything coming back to life; the school year wrapping up. The kids DO get squirrely, but that's about the only down side.

4. Any Easter traditions? Around our house, Easter is a very busy music time. All of holy week is involved in rehearsals and church services. Holt Thursday, Good Friday, Easter vigil, and Sunday morning sevice all make for a busy time.

5. How old were you believing in the Easter bunny? I'm too old to remember!

Sunday, March 07, 2004

Well, we have a new family member! His name is Ralph and he's a 12 week old mostly beagle w/some Australian cattle dog mixed in. He's very cute. Pam got pics that she's going to post. Lisa's play opens next week., so I'm in rehearsals (orchestra) for that plus my play at school, plus trying to price out a new light system for our stage, plus my MS/HS band/choir concert last week. . .

The kitties are trying hard to adjust, but it's only been 20 hrs. ..

See ya later for "Madness"
