It's been a busy week! When Geoff got back to school Sunday, his knee gave out and he hasn't been able to bear weight on his right leg since. He had an appointment with an orth. guy yesterday and he will be needing surgery. He has cartilege that has been tearing and wearing off and he now has a "pot hole" that has to be cleaned out and repaired. It involves getting underneath the kneecap, so it's going to require a short stay in the hospital (2-3 days) to manage pain. He had to postpone his piano jury because he is unable to use the piano pedal. The surgery is scheduled for Dec. 18, because he has exams next week. The party will have to wait another year.
