Which of the following do you think most influences a person to become an artist: desire, talent, practice, environment, or encouragement? Why?

I think that when God gives us a gift, there will be some point in our lives that it gets "tapped." Once that happens, the personal desire to nurture it comes soon after. Everything else follows a natural course. I have known people who practice and practice, but without the gift, or talent, the soul of the art is missing. True artists are drawn to the practice, or the desire to "do more." Environment and encouragement don't hurt, but I don't think it's essential.
