1. I am reading "Journey into Truth" by Fr. Olin J. Murdick, our parish priest when we were little kids. It was a book that "called to me" from my shelf as I was practicing my bass.
2. The first little kitty we had contracted FIP and we had to have her put down. It was very sad, but we were undeterred. We now have 5 kitties and 2 dogs. None of them "replace" Dorie, but we love the way pets complete a home!
3. Yes; S is in the Navy. She's a doc!
4. I was an adult who lived 120 mi. from home. Try that!
5. My fave had to be our Basset Hound, Abby. She had a huge litter of pups, and she was one of the dogs we had for the longest period of time.
6. Yes, and have 24 (almost) yrs. of marriage to prove it!
