Greetings all! I had my last home game already. Yay! It was cold, too! My middle school kids joined the older ones. We did a "Blues Brothers" theme complete with black hats and shades. Today I'm taking a personal day to go over to Mom's house. We drove to Mt. P yesterday to hear G's orchestra concert. They played Tchaikovsky Symphony #4. It's one of my faves because it's a great piece for brass and I also heard it played by the Chicago Symphony, who has one of the best brass sections in the world. It was an excellent concert, G's solos were great, and at he end, the conductor gave him the first "stand up" acknowledgement. It would have been great to go over to Mom's right after, but we had the dogs at home, so. . . More later!!
