Good morning! I was disturbed to discover that my ability to get a "kitty fix" at school was hampered because of the school control freak. I marched down to his classroom yesterday to complain, and hopefully I'll be "unblocked" soon. It's a sad day when I am unable to catch a quick glimpse of my kitties and puppies once in a while! Anyway, here's my MM:

This week's questions are all about your favorites. Also, please give me another 24 hours to update my 'recent participants' list. I appreciate you all! =)Name your favorite...1. Family Game2. Piece of Jewelry3. Winter Activity4. Hot Beverage5. Quote6. Color on You7. Summer Activity8. Topping on Pancakes9. Musician

1. It depends on which part of the family! Skipbo with Kev and the kids, Cribbage with G, Monopoly with G and L, Contract Rummy with Windy, Upwords with anyone who will play!, and Outburt, Mad gab, etc. etc. Hell I'll play anything any time with anybody! I sorta competitive.

6. Blue
7. Walking at Pere Marquette park on beautiful Lake Michigan!
8. Applesauce - it's tasty and not too sweet!

Today is miss Lisa's 17th birthday. She is having a party that started some time after she got out of school this morning. (exam week) Some are staying over, some aren't. They're nice girls, but noisy! Kevin made the cake. We'll probably just give her money, since she's going on a trip to NYC in the spring with the band and choir. She will want/need lots of spending money. I only had three work days this week due to icy roads. Such is life in a rural school district! Our exam week is next week, so I've been scrambling to get tests written and playing/singing tests done. The week following, I'll be holding auditions for my next play, a very funny version of "The Emperor's New Clothes." Later!

We've just begun a new calendar year, so this has inspired me to ask the following...Name...1. The most exciting thing that happened in your life this past year.2. Three resolutions that you've thought about making.3. Your biggest accomplishment this past year.4. Your biggest challenge this past year.5. Something you tried for the first time (whether it be food, a sport, a hobby, etc.)...and this next one comes from Andrea...6. Name 3 (or however many) things that happened this year that you did not anticipate happening. And on the flip side, name 3 (or however many) things that didn't happen this year that you expected to happen. These could be personal things, professional things, national things, things in the news; anything really....and this one comes from Storyteller...7. Where do you (or WOULD you) go for inspiration when you run out of questions for a meme?8. Something you'd like to accomplish (or do) this coming year that you didn't get a chance to do last year.Happy New Year, everyone! And thank you for playing Monday Madness with us!! =)
1. It's excitng that a) Kevy and I enjoy our jobs, b) Our kids are still liking and doing well in school, c) we have 2 dogs; one that we got in Feb, and one we got the week before last, d) we sold off our "Ludington stuff."
2. Resolutions: Try to be more organized, try to lose weight, try to be tidier. PS - these are pretty much the same resolutions I strive toward every year!
3. Biggest accomplishment? See question #1!
4. One of my biggest challenges has been to improve my driving habits. Lisa is tutoring me.
5. I'll have to think on this one more - I'm blanking.
6. I hadn't anticipated leaving Laman's landing and getting rid of our trailer and boat, but it's all good, because of our pets not being welcome there, and our remodelling plans.
7. No place! Life happens and always provides blog opportunities.
8. I want to get our remodellig off the ground before the money goes toward something else!
